Vox recently published an irresponsible story misleading readers to believe plastic food containers contain phthalates that are “leaching" into the food we eat. There’s just one problem: The use of ortho-phthalates in U.S. food packaging is approaching zero percent. And this industry trend has occurred despite the fact the FDA regulations approve the use of phthalates in food packaging.
